Overview

Omega Wind's earliest developed grid revolves around Last Storm Harp, a powerful weapon that provides two very relevant modifiers. Ewiyar's Beak also provides the element with a very strong Normal ATK weapon as well as strong skill supplemental damage, which many of wind's premier characters utilize.

At higher raid levels, players will gain access to the very potent Sette di Spade Mk II and its incredibly strong and versatile Weapon Awakening boosts that start to make up the majority of unboostedSetups that do not utilize Tiamat Omega as a main or support summon grids. This weapon has become very prevalent in many endgame wind setups due these raids heavily favoring charge attack focused playstyles.

Important Reminder!
Not all setups below will have weapons, characters, or summons that you have, so it's important to test any setups using whatever is available to you.This form of testing is how many Omega setups are created in the first place! Unfortunately, it's unrealistic to list every possible grid permutation and account for every player's inventory.

Seraphic Weapons and Ultima Weapons

In most standard situations, replacing the Ultima weapon in a setup with the respective Seraphic Weapon is fine. Just be sure to keep in mind any damage cap losses from the 2nd key that may be important for pushing certain thresholds.



Grid Weapons

Core Grid Weapons

Necessary weapons to run certain setups. You may be able to run with fewer copies, but these are strongly recommended.

Weapon Copies Notes

Tiamat Bolt Aura
3 - 5
  • Omega Winds's Exalto weapon, boosting Omega Wind weapon skills by 20% per copy up to a max of 100% which requires 5 copies of the weapon.
    • Currently the only way to satisfy Pendulum of Extremity's and other weapon skills that require a boost of 280% is to run double-sided summon aura boost. Once Wind's aura boosting character releases, grids can run 5 copies of this weapon alongside the character in single-sided aura setups.
    • 3x Tiamat Bolt Aura and 3x Last Storm Harp can be used for 99% crit rate with a single 170% Tiamat Omega support boost.

Last Storm Harp
2 - 4
  • Omega Wind's base grid consists two Last Storm Harps and one Coruscant Crozier to reach 100% critical hit rate.
  • 3 Harps can be used in double Tiamat Omega setups that want more Stamina modifiers.
  • 4 Harps are used in single Tiamat Omega burst setups to reach 96% critical hit rate which is considered reliable enough.

Coruscant Crozier
1 or 3
  • Serves as the last piece in 100% crit grids that also brings back some Omega ATK modifiers and HP into the grid.
  • 3x Coruscant Crozier + 1x Last Storm Harp can be used as a more defensive grid when more HP is desired.
  • 2 copies puts the grid in an awkward middle ground between optimal crit grid setups. If more HP is desired, Spring's Whisperings is a better slot.
  • Colloquially called "Spoons" by the community.

Ewiyar's Beak
2
  • A strong Normal modifier that also provides 100,000 Skill DMG Supplemental per copy up to a max of 200,000.
  • Core grid slots for any skill damage focused teams.

Sette di Spade

  • A charge attack-based weapon that wants multiple Sabre weapons in a grid to run optimally.
  • Grids can run upwards of 5 awakened copies in grids, so obtaining multiple is recommended.

Transcendence Lvl 5

Spear of Renunciation
1*Only one is obtainable.

Ring of Wandergale
1*Only one is obtainable.
  • This weapon should always be in a grid when fighting at an elemental advantage because of its 23% damage amplify.
  • Replaced by 5★ Ultima Weapons with Gauph Key Tria.

Supplementary Weapons

Weapons that provide a lot to a grid if you have them, but don't make up the core grid.

Weapon Copies Notes

Tiamat Arc Aura
Max: 2
  • Omega Wind's version of Destiny Knuckles, but with lower unique modifiers. Great for enmity-focused setups especially with Spartan's Ultimate Mastery skills.
  • The Bloodshed HP cut caps out at 40% meaning only 2 copies are needed. If further enmity support is desired, Tiamat Bolt Omega can be used.

Prayer of Grand Gales
1*Only one is obtainable.
  • Becomes a solid defensive grid piece to slot alongside Spear of Renunciation once fully upgraded.
  • Can be equipped in Extra Grid Slots to free up space in the main grid for other important grid pieces.
  • Crag TelumaEarth DMG reduction to all allies or Oblivion TelumaAmplify allies' DMG against non-elemental foes by 10%. are equipped depending on the content it is used in.

Theater of Temperance
1*Only one is obtainable.
  • A very strong grid slot at 4★ and above due to its combination of EX and Normal modifiers.
  • At 5★, it gains an additional 5% DMG Cap Up.

Melody of Judgement
1*Only one is obtainable.
  • A very strong grid slot at 4★ and above due to its combination of EX and Normal modifiers.
  • At 5★, it gains an additional 5% DMG Cap Up.
  • Provides 30% Earth DMG reduction.

Mandjet
1 - 3
  • One fully awakened copy is very strong for any burst setups because of its supplemental damage up to 30,000.
  • One of the few useful Axe mainhands or auxiliary weapons in Wind.
    • An easily accessible source of DelayReduce a foe's filled charge diamonds by 1
      on charge attack.
  • Up to 3 can be used in setups that focus on maximizing supplemental DMG.
  • Recommended Weapon Awakening: Attack

Qinglong Spear Malus

  • An easily accessible DMG Cap Up weapon with a fairly strong Normal modifier.

Peridot Crossbow
1*Only one is obtainable.
  • A very strong Omega weapon slot for longer fights due to its Progression weapon skill.
  • Should only be used with double Tiamat Omega supports.

Tiamat Edge Aura

  • A more defensive Ewiyar's Beak mainly used for high difficulty content. For any other content, it is still better to use Beaks.
  • The Tempering weapon skill requires summon aura boost to properly utilize.
    • 2 copies cap out the grid max Skill DMG Supplemental value at 200,000 with double Tiamat Omega aura boost.

Daur da Blao

  • A strong Skill DMG Cap up weapon that has access to Weapon Awakening.
  • Recommended Weapon Awakening: Special and Attack
    • A fully Attack awakened weapon will give similar EX boost as a fully upgraded Astral Weapon.

Innocent Love
1*Only one is obtainable.
  • A very strong single-slot EX modifier.

Exo Australis

  • A strong mainhand weapon when Attack awakened.
  • A modifier-efficient grid piece when Special awakened due to their mix of EX and Normal Might boosts as well as their slight HP boost. A decent filler grid slot when lacking better options.

Filler & Niche Weapons

These weapons can serve as filler for otherwise better weapons. Keep some copies around in case you may need them in the future, otherwise fodder the rest.

Draconic Rod
1*Only one is obtainable.
  • This weapon cannot be equipped with Spear of Renunciation or any other Dark Opus weapon.
  • A very strong option when more defense is desired over offense.
  • A decent sustain Staff mainhand.
  • Should ONLY be used at 5★ with the 3rd skill unlocked using Omega Teluma
    • Crag Teluma should be used over Endurance Teluma as elemental reduction is stronger than general DEF up and the latter can be gained from other sources.

Abu Simbel
1
  • A decent Melee mainhand or grid weapon for short fights.
  • Recommended Weapon Awakening: Attack

Windhose
1
  • A decent Sword mainhand or grid weapon for Charge Attack setups.
  • Recommended Weapon Awakening: Attack

Tiamat Gauntlet Omega

  • A large Omega ATK modifier that has access to AX stats, mainly used as Omega ATK filler.
  • Decent Melee mainhand.
  • Recommended AX Stats: Stamina +3 or ATK +3.5%

Sephira Emerald Sword

  • Strictly an HP filler weapon.

Ancient Nalakuvara

Claíomh Solais Díon

  • Commonly referred to as "Clams"
  • A unique weapon that provides 40% EX ATK, 25% DEF, and 7% Special DMG Cap per copy when 15 or more weapon skill types are active. See #Jade Valuables for information on how this skill is activated.
  • Can be used in burst setups or endgame setups that meet the skill's requirements.

Evanescence
MHMainhand Only.
This weapon should not be used as a grid piece.
  • Used at 0★ as a good Sword mainhand because of its strong 20% Bonus Wind DMGDeals bonus wind DMG for one-foe one-ally attacks

This grid forms its core from Last Storm Harp and Coruscant Crozier which provide excellent ATK boosts through its Stamina modifier and by achieving 100% critical hit rate.

Burst Setups

These setups aim to deal large amount of damage in as few turns as possible or in a short amount of time. These setups are typically used for farming raids with a minimum Blue Chest honors requirement or competing in Unite and Fight events.

Lucha Burst

Lucha burst conists of 4x Last Storm Harp for near 100% critical hit rate. There are a couple different possible grids listed below.

Extreme+

EX+ setups are usually notated by the amount of buttons and charge attacks required to defeat the enemy. For example, a setup that requires 0 buttons and does 3 charge attacks will be notated as 0b3c. For advanced players, reducing the amount of charge attack chains will reduce the amount of lockout inflicted, therefore allowing time for more battles.

About Lockout

Lockout is the period of time where a player cannot use any skills or actions after pressing the attack button. This is notated by the "Waiting..." loading icon at the top left of the battle screen.

Typically the more charge attacks in one turn, the longer the waiting time is. This lockout period will carry over into the next raid if it is long enough.

For more detailed information, see the main article: Lockout.

A player's ping does not affect the duration of lockout time, but it does affect the player's refresh and menuing time, which subsequently affects if the player is able to see the lockout.

As an example, if it takes player a total of 10 seconds from hosting the raid to entering the next one, all setups that have 10 or less seconds of lockout will functionally perform the same.
