Tikoh Trick

The crew arrives on a certain island to check out a Halloween festival, and instead of enjoying the festivities, Tikoh looks for a first aid station where she can provide her services. She then happens upon a troubled nurse who describes an issue she's having with a doctor at work, and Tikoh decides to help her solve it.

(Captain) and the crew arrive on an island to check out a large Halloween festival they recently heard about.
Vyrn: This crowd is insane! Look at all of the festival booths!
Lyria: Wow, that apple and pumpkin pastry over there looks so good...
As Lyria, Vyrn, and the rest of the crew go over their plan of attack for the festival, a certain doctor scopes out the venue.
Tikoh: ...
Lyria: Um... Is something wrong, Tikoh?
Tikoh: It... It's nothing. I was just looking at how lively everything is.
Vyrn: C'mon, don't lie to us... You're looking for a place where you can do your doctor thing, aren't you?
Tikoh: Urgh...
Vyrn: Didn't we talk to you about this this past summer? You work yourself too hard, Tikoh...
Tikoh: I appreciate your concern, but I've been taking good care of myself. I promise, I'm perfectly fine.
Tikoh: With this many people around, someone's bound to need medical assistance. There has to be a first aid station here that can take care of them.
Tikoh: People can get overwhelmed by the crowds, trip up in the rush, or get caught in a physical altercation. There's never a shortage of little problems at events like these.
Lyria: Okay then. But if they seem like they'd be fine without you, would you like to check out the town with us?
Tikoh: Sure. I'll go take a look at the first aid station's operations, and if they don't need me, I'll join up with you all.
  1. Don't overwork yourself, okay?
  2. No slacking off, all right?

Choose: Don't overwork yourself, okay?

Tikoh: Don't worry. I learned my lesson about working until I fall over the first time.

Choose: No slacking off, all right?

Vyrn: Hey, knock it off!
Vyrn: In case you couldn't tell, (Captain) was just tryin' to be funny. Don't take it seriously.
Tikoh: Hehe, don't worry, I know. But if I find out I'm needed, I'm going to do my best to help them... Without overdoing it, of course.

Tikoh: You all have a fun Halloween. I'll see you later.
Tikoh parts with the crew and makes her way into the town.
After asking a few passersby, Tikoh finds out that there is indeed a first aid station set up for the festival.
She wanders around for a bit and spots a tent that looks like what she's been searching for.
Tikoh: (Ah, that must be it. I'm surprised. From the outside, it looks like a proper first aid station.)
Woman's Voice: Sigh...
Tikoh: Hm?
Tikoh turns to look for the source of the tired groan and finds a woman leaning against a building.
Tikoh: What's the matter? Let me know if you're feeling unwell, I can help you.
Human Lady: Oh, no, sorry to bother you. I'm fine...
Tikoh: To be frank, you look the opposite of fine. You don't have to put on a brave face for me.
Tikoh: My name is Tikoh. I'm a doctor. You can relax now. You're in good hands.
Human Lady: You're a doctor? Oh, um... I'm a nurse, and, uh... I've been having a little bit of a problem.
Tikoh: A problem?
Tikoh: Tell me what's wrong if you're comfortable with sharing. Me stumbling upon you in a time of need is no coincidence.
Nurse: Thank you... I feel like if I tell you what's been going on, you'll just laugh...
Nurse: But believe it or not, I've been a nurse for around ten years now; I'm pretty confident I can do the job well.
Nurse: But this new doctor I'm working with is not just difficult, his treatments are also unorthodox. Some of them I've never even seen before.
Nurse: When I try to ask him to teach me his methodology when there aren't any patients around, he lays into me for hours...
Tikoh: He's laid into you?
Nurse: He's called me an amateur, ignorant, and told me my experience amounts to nothing. He's lobbed insult after insult at me...
Nurse: I've bent myself backwards studying so I can contribute more as a nurse, but his harsh language toward me hasn't changed.
Nurse: And maybe he's reached the end of his rope with me, because just a little while ago he told me not to bother coming in ever again.
Nurse: I was frustrated and stormed out. I guess I'd lost my patience too...
Tikoh: What he did to you was textbook harassment! Doctors and nurses are supposed to be on the same team! And teammates are supposed to respect each other!
Nurse: But it's partly my fault too. I just wasn't working up to his expectations...
Tikoh: One look at you tells me that you've put in every effort to do your job as a nurse.
Tikoh: And not only did he refuse to recognize your diligence, he told you to abandon your post! As a doctor myself, it makes my blood boil!
Tikoh: I want to have a word with that doctor. Where is he?
Nurse: I left in a rush, so I'm not exactly sure where he is right now. But he should be working at that first aid station.
Tikoh: Good. Perfect timing.
Nurse: Why's that?
Tikoh: I was just about to offer my services to them. I figure I'll give him a piece of my mind while I'm there.
Nurse: What? I can't let you face him for me! I've only just met you!
Tikoh: It's okay, don't worry about it! He must have forgotten how a real doctor's supposed to act, and I won't stand for that!
Tikoh: I'm confronting him because I want to! Don't you dare try to stop me!
Nurse: Thank you, Doctor Tikoh. I think I feel a little better now.
Nurse: It's just...
Tikoh: Is there a problem?
Nurse: Before you go... Your outfit...
Tikoh: What about it?
The nurse points out an issue with Tikoh's outfit and her eyes widen.
What could be wrong with her clothing? And will she be able to articulate to the doctor what it truly means to be a medical professional?
