Two Swords Held High

The Seven-Star Sword's prediction unsettles the crew, but Seofon offers a different perspective—hearing about the sword's scheme is actually a plus. Spirits lifted, (Captain) asks Seofon to make good on his promise to train with the captain. As they spar with each other, a relaxed Seofon says he wants to go to Estalucia with (Captain) and watch the sea of stars together.

The Seven-Star Sword hasn't spoken for several days after revealing its past.
Seofon finds (Captain) loitering on the Grandcypher's deck.
Seofon: Thanks for helping me look into the sword, (Captain).
Seofon: Who knew it had such a dark history. It might even come back to bite us in the butt.
Vyrn: The sword's history is whatever. I'm more worried about the whole "you and (Captain)" thing...
Seofon: Ah, that bit about us having power and authority? Well, I'm the leader of the Eternals, and (Captain)'s a crew captain.
Seofon: So, yeah, I guess we technically fit the bill.
Lyria: It's kind of worrying...
Seofon: What, that we'll lead our friends down a path of oblivion?
Vyrn: Nah, we all know that ain't gonna happen!
Vyrn: But that sword keeps finding its way to new people, and it's been doin' so ever since the War... Doesn't that make you nervous?
Lyria: Yeah... Especially when it said that peace wouldn't last...
Seofon: Hm... I see.
Vyrn: How can you be so calm? It doesn't bother you in the slightest?
Seofon: Worrying isn't going to help anything. I'd argue we should be delighted instead.
Vyrn: Uh... Okay...
Seofon: Here's the thing. We've now learned a lot more about the Seven-Star Sword. That's exactly what we set out to do.
Seofon: I don't blame anyone for being nervous, but any way you wanna look at it, this info is a huge plus.
Lyria: It is?
Seofon: Yep. It's our ticket to protecting world peace. I'd call that a win.
Seofon winks at (Captain) to settle the captain's jangled nerves.
Vyrn: When you put it that way, learning what the Seven-Star Sword's up to is a big deal, and we managed to do it.
Lyria: Yeah... From now on, no matter how scary the situation might be, we should all put our heads together.
Seofon: Aha! My thoughts exactly! Can we pretend I said that?
Lyria: Huh?
Vyrn: Hahaha! What are you talkin' about?
Seofon: I need some inspiring words to rally the Eternals. They don't listen to me, you know.
It seems Seofon's perspective of the world isn't bound to the Seven-Star Sword's narrow interpretations.
Hearing the laughter between Seofon and the others lifts the weight on (Captain)'s shoulders.
Vyrn: What's wrong, (Captain)? Why'd ya take out your sword?
  1. Teach me some of your moves.
  2. You promised me, remember?

Choose: Teach me some of your moves.

Seofon: Ah, of course, of course! How could I forget your reward for helping with the Seven-Star Sword?
Lyria: What! You're going to do sword training right now?
Vyrn: Eh, it's fine. They know what they're doin'. Besides, it's not about where you fight but how!
Seofon: Ooh, that's a good quote too!

Choose: You promised me, remember?

Seofon: Oops. Hate to admit it, but the terms of our agreement slipped my mind.
Vyrn: Can't blame ya since we had our hands full dealin' with that sword.

Seofon unsheathes his sword and meets (Captain)'s challenge.
Seofon: All right, Captain. Let's do this thing.
Vyrn: Gooo, (Captain)! Show 'im who's boss!
Lyria: Do your best, you two!
Two swords clash, and (Captain)'s sword training gets underway.
Seofon: We'd be up the creek if the Seven-Star Sword's provocations wormed their way into your head.
Seofon: Thankfully we've got nothing to fear. You're definitely rising to the occasion. Mm-hm, there's no better way to put it!
As the training session heats up to a fevered pitch, Seofon muses quietly.
Seofon: I want to go to Estalucia with you.
Seofon: And there we can watch the sea of stars together.
(Captain) raises an eyebrow in confusion, but Seofon offers nothing more than a smile.
The sound of clanging swords echoes across the deck until the sun sets.
