Anything for Love
The crew is suddenly approached by someone who asks (Captain) to be a pretend lover as a job. The client explains that the request is to shake off a persistent stalker. Upset at the strange request, Andira insists on pretending to be (Captain)'s younger sister as part of the plan.
Some time has passed since the crew's arrival at the Alohas Super Resort.
Easing themselves into the idea of a workation, they begin taking on assignments as usual.
Andira: Aw, I wanted to play today.
Andira: I mean I wanted to play with you, (Captain)!
Andira: But it's fine. I've already decided to help with today's job.
A pouting Andira begrudgingly takes her seat.
Vyrn: It sure is surprising to see so many requests coming in to a happy place like this.
Lyria: Just goes to show there are people who need help anywhere—even at a resort.
Vyrn: Our crew's got a reputation among the guests staying here.
Andira: Ah, looks like we have another one.
Female Client: Excuse me... Are you (Captain)'s crew?
Andira: Yes, that's us. How can we help you today?
Female Client: Um... I'd like for (Captain) to be my lover!
The Three: Eh?
Andira: D-d-do you have any idea what you're saying!
Andira: What a shameful thing for you to ask out of the blue!
Lyria: Yeah! Something like that should be taken step by step... or so I've been told!
Female Client: Sorry, let me rephrase... I'd like you to pretend to be my lover. We don't have to actually be steady or anything.
Andira: A pretend lover? What for? This isn't making much sense...
Lyria: Dating around for fun's not good either!
Lyria: At least that's what someone in the crew told me...
Vyrn: In any case, just calm down and tell us what's going on.
Female Client: This is embarrassing to talk about, but...
As it turns out, the client has been trying to stop the stalker activity of a former lover.
By having (Captain) play the role of current lover, the client intends to dash the hopes of the stalker.
Vyrn: So that's what's happenin', huh.
Lyria: This sounds like a proper request after all...
Andira: But (Captain) playing the role of your lover can't be the only way to solve the problem. Our captain's a busy person, you know.
Vyrn: Who was it that said they want to play with (Captain) today?
Andira: Er...
Andira: I'm just saying it doesn't have to be (Captain) who plays pretend lover. There are other crew members who can play the role just as well.
Female Client: Ah... Thank you so much!
Andira: Well, if our captain's up for it, then I've got nothing else to say.
Lyria: (Captain) never turns down a chance to help someone in need.
Vyrn: As long as (Captain) doesn't mind, then it's all good.
Andira: (Hm, I'm still not too sure about this...)
Female Client: Is it okay if we start discussing our date plan?
Andira: (Date plan...)
Andira frowns at the idea of a date between captain and client.
Andira: Hey, I just thought of a great idea!
Andira: How about I tag along pretending to be (Captain)'s little sis?
Andira: After all, the more bodyguards the client has for protection, the better.
Choose: I'm cool with that as long as our client is.
Female Client: Sure, I don't mind how many people tag along!
Female Client: I'll leave that for you guys to decide.
Andira: Great... Then Lyria can be my friend, while Vyrn can be our pet!
Vyrn: Who you callin' a pet!
Andira: Fine. You can be our client's lover's best buddy.
Lyria: That's a heavy responsibility!
Andira: We play our roles right, and the stalker will be no more!
Lyria: Okay!
Andira: Now to come up with a date plan that includes all of us.
And so it is decided that the rest of the crew will accompany the pretend couple on their pretend date.
One can only imagine the excitement that awaits them ahead.
Anything for Love: Scene 2
(Captain) and company proceed with their date plan. Despite it being an act, Andira grows increasingly annoyed at how intimate the client is with (Captain). She takes (Captain)'s remaining free hand and pulls the captain toward the next place on their agenda.
Proceeding with their date plan, the crew and client go about having a good time at the Alohas Super Resort.
Andira: That reminds me, are you certain your stalker's going to show up today?
Female Client: I spread the word at my workplace that I'd be spending today with my lover here.
Female Client: I did that because the stalker is actually my boss at the restaurant I work at...
Female Client: Since we kept our relationship a secret from the other staff, I wasn't sure who I could talk to about my problem.
Lyria: I see...
Vyrn: Did you have some sorta Plan B in mind just in case (Captain) turned down your request?
Female Client: No, I didn't think that far. I went looking for you when I heard a really kind, caring skyfarer was staying here.
Female Client: Thank goodness the rumors were true. Heheh... What a lucky person I'd be to have a lover like (Captain) for real.
Andira: Instead of joking around, maybe you can focus on seeing if the stalker's here yet.
Female Client: Teehee, sorry about that. I didn't mean that as a joke though.
Andira: (Okay, this person's starting to get to me...)
Female Client: Ah!
Andira: What is it now?
Female Client: (Over there... That's the stalker...)
Vyrn: (Ah, the person hiding behind that pillar, huh...)
Male Stalker: ...
Lyria: (That stalker's been sneaking looks our way...)
Female Client: Okay... Let's do this, (Captain).
The client grasps the captain's hand as if it's the most natural thing to do.
Andira: ...!
Male Stalker: ...!
Andira: (Grr... Holding hands with someone you've just met? Does this person have no shame?)
Andira: S-so which attraction should we check out first? How about the water slide?
Andira: According to Catura, it's a classic date spot! Can't go wrong with it!
Andira forcefully pulls on (Captain)'s free hand.
Andira: Lyria, Vyrn, let's all hold hands!
Lyria: Huh? Oh, right!
Vyrn: Why do I hafta be in on the hand-holding thing too!
Andira: This helps us ensure that you don't get lost!
Vyrn: Gah! I ain't no kid!
Female Client: Heheh...
Andira: What's so funny?
Female Client: It feels like I suddenly have cute little sisters for real. Brings a tear to my eye.
Andira: Oh yeah? Hrm...
Andira: (Whether these are signs of maturity or a natural swindler I'm seeing in action, it scares me...)
Andira: We'll give ourselves away if we don't move! Quick—to the water slide!
Holding hands like one big, happy group, the crew go to their next spot.
Anything for Love: Scene 3
At the luau venue, the crew notices that the stalker is growing more desperate. (Captain) and the client feed each other food as part of their lovers' act. Noticing the danger in the stalker's behavior, Andira whispers something into (Captain)'s ear.
The crew has now made the rounds with the water slide and lazy river.
They decide to visit the luau venue for a meal while it's empty between programs.
Male Stalker: Huff... Huff...
Andira: I know we're keeping our distance, but it's hard to stay composed when I can feel the stalker's eyes constantly on us.
Vyrn: Yeah, it gets tirin' trying to relax when you know you're being watched.
Lyria: I can sense the stalker growing more frustrated...
Andira: You guys really think the creep is gonna call it quits if we just keep this up?
Vyrn: Good question... It kinda feels like all we're doin' is adding fuel to the fire.
The waitstaff come to serve the crew food.
Female Client: Wanna try something?
Andira: Try what?
Female Client: Say "aah."
The Four: Wha!
Female Client: You like that?
Next, it's time for (Captain) to return the favor.
Female Client: Mm, delicious.
Andira: Urk...
Vyrn: I know it's just an act, but I've gotta hand it to you two for makin' it look so natural.
Lyria: Yeah... My heart's pounding just watching...
Male Stalker: Urgh...
The stalker's contempt at the tender display of affection between (Captain) and the client is no longer a secret.
Andira: ...
Anticipating an attack, Andira nudges closer toward (Captain).
Andira: I have an idea. Hear me out.
Andira: Psst, psst...
Andira whispers something into the captain's ear.
Anything for Love: Scene 4
After their meal, the stalker waits until the client is alone before making an assault. However, the client turns out to be one of Andira's clones acting as a decoy. After catching the stalker red-handed, Andira gives some thoughtful advice to the criminal before passing the rest to the authorities. The incident leaves Andira thinking about her feelings toward the captain once again.
Andira: (Any moment now...)
Andira: Now that we're all full, why don't we go back to the hotel to rest up?
Lyria: Yeah, I'm tired from a day of fun.
Having finished their meal, the crew take leave of the luau grounds.
Male Stalker: As if I'd let you get away...
Just then, a large guided tour happens to pass by the crew, preventing the stalker from getting close.
Spectator 1: Oh look, those seats in the front row are reserved for us!
Spectator 2: Sweet! Best seats in the house to watch the hula and fire knife dances! Good thing we booked this tour!
Male Stalker: Damn it, lost sight of them! Which way did they go!
The flustered stalker ponders the next action to take.
Male Stalker: They mentioned the hotel. Maybe I can ambush them at the lobby...
The stalker enters the hotel lobby and waits for the crew to show up.
Male Stalker: Pant... Wheeze... Where—
Female Client: ...
Male Stalker: There!
Spotting the client taking a seat alone on the sofa, the stalker boldly does the same on the sofa opposite the client.
Female Client: ...!
Male Stalker: So we finally get to talk alone. Tell me... Why have you been avoiding me? And who is that man?
Male Stalker: He's a poor match for you. Didn't I tell you I'd be the one to protect you?
Male Stalker: The two of us should start over. We were meant for each other.
Female Client: ...
Male Stalker: Well? Say something.
Male Stalker: If I can't be with you, then no one can. Even if it means...
Male Stalker: I'll have to kill you... and myself...
The stalker brandishes a knife.
Male Stalker: Hraaagh!
Female Client: Heh...
Female Client: Haaah!
Male Stalker: Ngh...
The client dodges the attack and restrains the stalker from behind.
Male Stalker: H-how did you...
Female Client: Release!
This was all planned out earlier at the luau venue.
Andira: Psst, psst...
Andira: A hula dance event is scheduled here for the next time slot. We can take advantage of the commotion to temporarily shake off the stalker.
Andira: Then I'll use my transformation technique to turn into the client without being noticed.
Andira: If things get violent afterward, I'll catch the stalker red-handed and nab ourselves a criminal.
Lyria: But... will you really be okay, Andira?
Andira: Hehe... No worries. Let's not forget I'm a Divine General.
Vyrn: And we'll watchin' from the shadows just in case things go south!
Female Client: Thank you...
Andira: As the one who suggested the idea, it's only fair that I play my part.
Placing their trust in Andira, the crew sees her off.
After leaving the luau venue, Andira did her transformation and took the place of the client.
Andira: You're finished. Don't resist if you know what's good for you.
The rest of the crew catches up to Andira.
Male Stalker: Urgh...
Lyria: Andira! You're not hurt, are you?
Andira: Oh, I'm fine.
Vyrn: I called security!
Andira: Thanks.
I leave this in your hands, sir.
I leave this in your hands, sir.
Security Guard: I'll take care of it.
You, stand up.
You, stand up.
Male Stalker: Okay...
Female Client: ...
Male Stalker: I'm sorry things turned out this way...
Male Stalker: I just couldn't hold back my feelings for you...
Andira turns to the dejected stalker.
Andira: You know, I was thinking...
Male Stalker: Huh?
Andira: I might not be the most qualified person to give relationship advice...
Andira: But I know what it's like to really like someone.
Andira: Just because the object of your affections doesn't feel the same about you...
Andira: And looks elsewhere for love...
Andira: Leaving you behind because you were being pushy...
Andira: That still does not give you the right to hurt them.
Male Stalker: ...
Andira: Surely everyone feels down about relationship problems at some point in their life.
Andira: But if you can truly love someone from the bottom of your heart, that's a miracle if you ask me.
Andira: You experienced that miracle for yourself and should have treasured the precious feeling.
Andira: Don't soil the miracle with the dark emotions in your heart.
Andira: Remind yourself that they also have the freedom to choose the love of their love, and learn to respect that choice.
Andira: If you can do that... you can avoid a repeat of this tragedy in the future.
Male Stalker: Sniff... You couldn't be more right.
Male Stalker: Thank you kindly for the advice...
Security Guard: Time to go.
Male Stalker: Sigh...
The stalker quietly follows the security guard while shedding tears at Andira's thoughtful words.
Andira: Whew... I'm beat.
(Captain) offers the exhausted Andira a gentle hug.
Andira: Yeah, I'm fine... The day's events just took a lot out of me.
Lyria: You look like you could use a nap, Andira. Maybe you should rest up in your room.
Andira: Meh, no more than I usually do.
Andira: You were so glued to the client that you probably didn't get a good look at me though.
Vyrn: Aw, no need to be modest! No matter what anyone says, you deserve all the credit today!

Andira: You're welcome. You should be safe now.
Andira: But feel free to let us know if anything else comes up.
Lyria: Take it easy for the rest of the day.
Vyrn: See ya around!
The crew parts with the client and takes Andira to a guest room in the hotel.
As they watch the client walk away, Andira whispers something in (Captain)'s ear.
Andira: Psst...
Days later, the crew is relaxing in the hotel lobby.
Female Client: Aloha!
The Three: Aloha!
Andira: You start work today?
Female Client: Mm-hm! It's technically orientation, but I'm going to treat it like the real thing!
Lyria: Good luck! We look forward to seeing you around!
Vyrn: More than anything, I'm surprised at how fast you got the job.
There is more to the story of how the client ends up working at the Alohas Super Resort.
Andira: Psst...
Choose: As a staff member for the resort?
Andira: If we put in a recommendation to Friday, maybe the client can get a job here.
Andira: Especially with Tiare and Lantana around, it'd be so much better than the client's current workplace.
Lyria: You're right. Going back to work for that boss after what's happened would be awkward.
Vyrn: Great idea! Let's discuss this with Miss SHRIMP tomorrow!
(Captain) and company later bring the matter to Friday, who quickly agrees to the proposal.
Female Client: Thank you so much for everything you've done for me!
Female Client: I don't know how I'll ever be able to pay you back for all the kindness you've shown me...
Andira: Your reaction tells us that recommending you was the right call. Good luck with your new job here.
Female Client: Andira, if you hadn't acted as my decoy that day...
Female Client: Chances are I wouldn't be standing here right now.
Andira: I later realized I could've pretended to be you from the very beginning...
Andira: That way, you and (Captain) wouldn't have had to go on that date to begin with.
Andira is still sour about the date between captain and client.
Taking a good look at (Captain)'s and Andira's expressions, the client goes up to the Divine General and whispers into her ear.
Female Client: (I see you've already experienced the miracle for yourself?)
Female Client: (I'm sorry for not noticing earlier!)
Andira: Huh?
Taking a moment to register what the client is saying, Andira's mouth is agape.
Andira: What are you suggesting! Forget I said anything!
Flustered for just a second, Andira turns away angry and pouting.
Lyria: What was that all about, Andira?
Vyrn: Yeah, don't keep us in suspense!
Andira: It's not important!
The series of events at the Alohas Super Resort has given Andira much to consider.
What does it mean to love someone? At what point does an emotion become love?
These are just some of the thoughts going through her head. Though inexperienced in such matters herself, she cannot help but feel her heart flutter ever so slightly when turning to look at (Captain).
Something unmistakably stirred in her heart the day she met the captain.
Perhaps it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to call that a "miracle"—so Andira tells herself.
Andira: Phew...
Whether or not (Captain) knows her true feelings...
While gazing at Andira's listless profile, the captain cannot deny the unmistakable charm the Divine Monkey showed today.
