| A humble kelp fisherman from Tetsusan Island. When Raiden was young, his father's boat sunk under mysterious circumstances. Vivid memories of seeing the shame his father felt for having to ask other fishermen for a ride inspired him to work hard to acquire a boat for his family. Though he is both aware and proud of his ancestor Yokozuna, he never aspired to become a sumo warrior himself. But unbeknownst to him, Yokozuna's blood runs deep in his veins, giving him the potential to be a sumo warrior on par with or even greater than his legendary ancestor. He is impulsive and stubborn, more likely to dig in his heels than change his mind once it is set. He has no objections to Thalassa being a mermaid, and thinks both her true form and her land form to be equally cute. |
