Haaselia wreaks vengeance on her uncle and all who were involved with the black market, slaughtering them. Despite having carried out her revenge, however, the fact that her dear friends will never come back to life brings Haaselia overwhelming loneliness, and she attempts to end her own life. Katzelia and company arrive just in time to persuade her to choose the way of life, helping her to realize that though she may not possess any special talent, there may still be something that only she can do. Haaselia decides to continue her journey in order to find her meaning of life.

Do you remember how I said it was cruel that the sun rises for everyone? Even though I've shed so much blood, the sun is still rising so beautifully in front of me... Is it mocking me? No... Probably not. The skies are vast—my problems are tiny in comparison. But that's exactly why I'd like to help keep the small parts of the sky that I can reach as peaceful as possible. I want to find a way to live my life that will allow me to do that, by journeying with you. Anyway, I wanted to tell you what I've decided on. A New Year's resolution, if you will. For some reason, I wanted you to know. Thanks for staying by my side through all of this, (Captain).
