| A true dragon sealed deep in the Howling Valley of Feendrache. When its seal was once broken some time ago, it was defeated by Siegfried who served Feendrache's then sovereign, King Josef. In the distant past, the true dragon had sustained grievous injuries after becoming entangled in a war between mortals. It drifted in a daze until it arrived at an island known then as Avalon. There its life was saved by a family of dragons called the Amphiptere. As thanks, the true dragon decided to live on the island, and devote its life to protecting the dragons and the people of Avalon. When the ebon beast awakened and brought destruction to the island, the true dragon relinquished its ego to inflict the beast with a grave wound. Around this time, it entrusted a part of itself to the Lady of the Lake as a precautionary measure. In the days of Avalon, the true dragon was known to be deeply compassionate and friendly to all beings. |
