| The father of Lancelot and husband of Elaine, he was lovingly called "teacher" by the children of Nimue for his efforts to educate them in reading and writing. He had always been strict but affectionate with his son Lancelot, and treasured Vane as if he were one of his own. While his father was an ordinary person from off the island, his mother was a distant descendant of a Vallant. After his mother passed from illness, he learned about his roots by reading the diary she left behind. Following clues in her writings, he managed to make contact with other descendants of the Vallant, and researched the hidden truth of Feendrache in secret. During his quest, he happened upon Miles, a direct descendant of a Vallant, who was apprehended by the kingdom's knights for being a dissident. After saving him, they became friends and worked together to bring the darkness of Feendrache into the light. |
